Photosynthetic thermal tolerance estimates for 36 tropical species following the static water bath method and measuring maximum quantum yield (Fv/Fm). Thermal tolerance assays were performed once each in near-darkness (~4 μmol photons m^-2 s^-1) and in sub-saturating light (280 μmol photos m^-2 s^-1).
