Mean Annual Evaporation 1973–1992

The present evaporation map was first published in the Hydrological Atlas of Switzerland in 1999. For the digital version of the atlas, these values will initially be used, since evaporation values represent important, basic hydrological information and no significant changes in the evaporation rates are expectedfor the period 1973–1992. However, evaporation rates are the subject of ongoing research that should lead to an updated map.
