Does Amazoonia cost me anything?
No. You buy at the normal Amazon price. Amazon pays us a commission that does not change your price.
Why Amazon.de and not a Swiss shop?
Because more sellers compete for the same item there. Where the gap does not justify importing, we say so.
What is import VAT?
On entry into Switzerland, 8.1% is charged on the value of the goods including shipping. Very small amounts are sometimes not collected, depending on the total value.
What is the customs handling fee?
The carrier charges its own fee for clearing the parcel. It is separate from the tax and differs between carriers.
Does Amazon ship everything to Switzerland?
No, and that is the most common frustration with buying abroad. That is why we verify deliverability before a product appears here.
